										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Turkey Dinner – The Church-wide Thanksgiving dinner will be on Sunday, November 19,&nbsp; in the Contemporary Worship Center immediately following the Combined Worship Service. The Combined Worship Service will begin at 10:30am in the Sanctuary. The traditional turkey dinner will be prepared and served by the men of the church. There will be a sign-up sheet on the main bulletin board for volunteers to help with the meal.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sunday, March 13, marks the beginning of Daylight Saving Time.&nbsp; &nbsp;That means it time to move your clock forward one hour.&nbsp;&nbsp;The aim is to make use of daylight longer into the evening by starting daylight an hour later in the morning.&nbsp; &nbsp;Most clocks, digital watches, and smartphones will change automatically to reflect the new time, but if you have an analogue clock, set a reminder to turn the clock forward an hour.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wednesday, March 2, at&nbsp; 6:30pm, Sanctuary &#8211; Asbury will be observing Ash Wednesday in an intimate service. &nbsp;Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent which is the 40 day period before Easter. &nbsp;Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of blessing ashes made from palm branches on the previous year&#8217;s Palm Sunday, and placing them on the foreheads of participants to the accompaniment of the words &#8220;Repent, and believe in the Gospel&#8221; or &#8220;Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.&#8221;</p>
